Basketball Game Preview: McComb Tigers vs. Forrest County Agricultural Aggies

The McComb Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: McComb has struggled recently with 16 losses in a row, while Forrest County Agricultural will arrive with four straight wins.

Last Tuesday, McComb took a blow against Lanier, falling 68-34. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forrest County Agricultural). They blew past Columbia 68-39 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Forrest County Agricultural pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points over those games. As for McComb, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
