Football Recap: Manning Snaps 15-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manning can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Hampton County Hurricanes. The Monarchs were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the four contests prior), but the Hurricanes' defense proved too tough.

Manning's defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-4. As for Hampton County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Manning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hampton County, they will square off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
