Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Show Low

Show Low had won five straight games and Raquel Wilson did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Show Low Cougars walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Snowflake Lobos thanks in part to Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylee Boyce, who posted four points along with seven boards and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games she's played.

Ryah Denhalter and Ranell West certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Denhalter scored 13 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals, while West earned eight points and seven boards. Kenadi Stuart was another key player, putting up eight points.

Show Low has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Snowflake, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4.

Show Low has already played their next game, a 42-35 win against St. Johns on the 23rd. As for Snowflake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-45 victory against Payson on the 23rd.
