Baseball Recap: Castle Comes Up Short

Castle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 9-1 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Castle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaeden Pilanca, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Castle's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Roosevelt, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castle will face off against Kalani at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Roosevelt, they will venture away from home to take on Kailua at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
