Currituck County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Holmes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Knights will challenge the Aces at 6:00 p.m.

Currituck County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Manteo on Monday. They fell just short of the Redskins by a score of 2-1. Currituck County haven't had much luck with Manteo recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Holmes kept a clean sheet against Pasquotank County on Monday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Holmes, who have now won ten contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Pasquotank County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma Parrish (5), Kate Foster (2), Maci Kate Nixon, and Leslie Carpiette.

The win made it two in a row for Holmes and bumps their season record up to 11-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two matchups. As for Currituck County, they now have a losing record of 6-7-2.

Everything went Currituck County's way against Holmes in their previous meeting back in March, as Currituck County made off with a 10-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
