Softball Recap: Rockledge Comes Up Short

Rockledge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-4 to the Eau Gallie Commodores. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Commodores this season, with their most recent defeat being a 8-5 loss on Wednesday.

Rockledge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiyana Sandy, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Rockledge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Eau Gallie, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Rockledge will face off against Space Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vipers have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Eau Gallie, they will square off against Harmony at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
