Basketball Game Preview: Kelso Hilanders vs. Mountain View Thunder

The Kelso Hilanders will face off against the Mountain View Thunder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kelso is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took an 82-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of Prairie on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Hilanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Falcons are ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Mountain View's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Heritage by a score of 50-48. The contest marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kelso dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mountain View, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-5.
