The Daleville Broncos will square off against the Blue River Valley Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Daleville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Daleville and Eastern Hancock had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Broncos came out on top against the Royals by a score of 10-5 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Broncos as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Daleville got a big performance out of Bryson Sigler, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Austin Kerr was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Blue River Valley fell victim to Shenandoah and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 6-0. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Blue River Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RYLAN KRAUS, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Blue River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Daleville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Blue River Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Daleville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. It's a different story for Blue River Valley, though, as they've only averaged .246. Will they be able to contain Daleville's hitters?

Daleville was able to grind out a solid win over Blue River Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 3-0. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
