Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Has No Trouble Against the Rock Academy

Grace Christian's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-27 victory over The Rock Academy Lions.

It was another big night for Thad Shuler, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 21 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Grace Christian's points. Peter Moody was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.

The win got Grace Christian back to even at 2-2. As for The Rock Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Grace Christian will head out to square off against Conecuh Springs Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Rock Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Springwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
