Soccer Recap: Summit Charter Extends Winning Streak to Two

Summit Charter won the last time they faced Hayesville and things went their way on Monday too. The Bears never let the Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering Summit Charter have won three matchups by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Hayesville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Blake Snoey (2), Elier Flores, and Pablo Espinosa.

The win made it two in a row for Summit Charter and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Hayesville, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Summit Charter didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Tri-County on the 15th. As for Hayesville, they will venture away from home to square off against Blue Ridge Early College at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
