 North Edgecombe can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Tuesday. They never let the Weldon Chargers onto the board and left with  a   21-0  victory. North Edgecombe's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Latravian Parker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk). Parker has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Parker was even better at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing six bases while  getting on base  in four of his seven plate appearances.
 In other batting news, North Edgecombe got a  massive  performance out of  Stanley Sivels, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in five of his eight plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Victor Tebalen, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances.
 North Edgecombe's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 1-6-1. As for Weldon, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with that  loss, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Edgecombe beat Weldon by a score of  1-0 later that day.
