Volleyball Recap: Coosa's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Coosa had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Greenville Patriots. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Anna Francis had a dynamite game, getting 14 aces and 14 assists. Those 14 assists gave her a new career-high. Taegan Cline was another key player, getting six aces and one assist.

They weren't the only good server: Coosa was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 30 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Coosa now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Greenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coosa has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bremen on the 18th. As for Greenville, they will head out on the road to take on Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
