            Baseball Recap: Lynn English Bulldogs vs. Malden Golden Tornados        
        
		
        
        
            If Lynn English was riding high  fresh off their  20-1 takedown of Chelsea on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell  9-4 to the Malden Golden Tornados on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the  8-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
  Gilbert Galva made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ewerd Beato, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
Lynn English's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Malden, their record now sits at 8-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynn English will take on Newburyport at 1:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Clippers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.56  runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Malden, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Lawrence Tech  at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday.
