Volleyball Recap: Duarte Takes a Loss

Duarte lost against Nogales back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Falcons came up short against the Nobles, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Duarte was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-10, 25-17.

Duarte's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Nogales, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Duarte is set to square off against their familiar foe Garey at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Nogales will face off against rival Sierra Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
