Basketball Recap: Concordia Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Concordia Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crosspoint Wildcats. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Concordia Christian Academy now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Crosspoint, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concordia Christian Academy will challenge Vashon Island at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Concordia Christian Academy is facing Vashon Island at the right time seeing as Vashon Island is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Crosspoint, they will welcome Northwest Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crosspoint has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three matches.
