Recap: Orme Warriors vs. Trinity Christian Warriors
The Orme Warriors lost against the Trinity Christian Warriors back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Orme was beaten by Trinity Christian 69-38. Orme has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Orme saw an underclassman step up: Jack Welty scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Welty continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Rudolph , who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Orme's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Trinity Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Tri City Prep the next time they take the court. Trinity Christian will head out to face Tri City Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Orme will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
