Basketball Recap: Garden Valley Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Garden Valley proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 20) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Council Lumberjacks 45-43. The 45-point effort marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Garden Valley's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Council, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Garden Valley will take on Butte County in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Council and Watersprings will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
