Preview: Honaker Tigers vs. Galax Maroon Tide

The Honaker Tigers will take on the Galax Maroon Tide at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Honaker had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 28-18 win over the Eagles.
Aidan Lowe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 164 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 95 receiving yards. Peyton Musick was another key contributor, throwing for 251 yards and a touchdown while completing 81.5% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Galax has more to be thankful for after their contest against George Wythe on Saturday. Galax had just enough and edged George Wythe out 17-14.
Honaker's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Galax, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
