Basketball Recap: Jordan Snags 20th Victory in Last 22 Games

Jordan won the last time they faced Katy Taylor and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jordan Warriors managed a 58-53 win over the Katy Taylor Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Leading Jordan to victory were Elijah Black and Jaden Holt. Black went 8 of 12 on his way to 19 points in addition to five boards and four steals, while Holt posted 19 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. That's the most steals Black has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rayan Fadika, who put up seven points and eight rebounds.

Jordan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season. As for Katy Taylor, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Paetow the next time they take the court. Katy Taylor will head out to face Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Jordan will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
