Basketball Recap: Carnellous Lenard Key Part of Team Effort in Indians Win

Biloxi lost to Pascagoula back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Indians walked away with a 54-42 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Biloxi's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carnellous Lenard, who shot 62% from the field on his way to 19 points. That's the most points Lenard has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Christian Gullett, who earned 12 points and four steals.

Biloxi's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pascagoula, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Biloxi will look to defend their home court on Monday against Laurel at 7:30 p.m. As for Pascagoula, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ocean Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
