Volleyball Recap: Crisp County Comes Up Short

Crisp County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gryphons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15.

Crisp County's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Academy for Classical Education, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

While Crisp County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
