Basketball Recap: Fallston Victorious

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fallston had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They escaped with a win against the Rising Sun Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

Leading Fallston to victory were Brooke Bolesta and Maura Lawall. Bolesta almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds, while Lawall posted three points and five steals. Lawall is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Jadin Woods also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
