Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Porter). They blew past the Donna North Chiefs 76-47 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cowboys have posted against the Chiefs since January 23, 2018.

Porter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alonso Vasquez led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. Those 23 points gave Vasquez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joshua Shogreen, who went 6 for 15 en route to 16 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks.

Porter was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Porter's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-15. As for Donna North, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-22 record this season.

Porter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-43 loss against Rivera on the 20th. Donna North has also already played their next contest (against Mercedes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
