Williamsburg won the last time they faced Ferndale and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Pirates came out on top against the Yellow Jackets by a score of 4-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

The team relied heavily on Preston Long, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Williamsburg is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
