Football Recap: Mt. Carmel Starts off Right with Win over Westview + How To Watch

Mt. Carmel had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Westview Wolverines as they made off with a 43-21 victory. The win continues a trend for the Sundevils in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won eight in a row.

Trevor Taumoepeau had an outrageously good game as he threw for 320 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also punched in one rushing score. What's more, he racked up 144.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Atticus Enriquez, who picked up 125 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
