Cleveland never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Rhea County Golden Eagles with a sharp 11-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Caden Tippens was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of River Briggs, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Cleveland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rhea County struck out nine times.

Cleveland is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Rhea County, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will welcome Red Bank at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rhea County, they will venture away from home to take on Bradley Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
