Volleyball Recap: Davis Comes Up Short

Davis lost against Herriman back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Darts fell 2-0 to the Mustangs.

Davis' offense was headlined by Pola Wong and Alex Harris, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Kate Donigan and her seven assists.

Herriman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenna Perry, who had six aces. With that strong performance, Perry is now averaging an impressive 2.4 aces per game.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Herriman, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Davis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Weber on the 5th. As for Herriman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Centennial on the 6th.
