Football Recap: Waldron Bulldogs vs. Muldrow Bulldogs
On Friday, the Waldron Bulldogs ended up a good deal behind the Muldrow Bulldogs and lost 28-14. Waldron has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Deshawn Wilson and his top target Teaguen Collins. Wilson gained 142 total yards and a touchdown while Collins rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown. Collins also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making 20 total tackles.
Waldron now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Muldrow, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.
Waldron will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ozark at 7:00 p.m. on September 27th. As for Muldrow, they will head out on the road to take on Spiro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
