Basketball Recap: Richwood Takes a Loss

Richwood was the 67-43 winner over Bossier when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Richwood Rams lost 76-51 to the Bossier Bearkats on Saturday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rams came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Bearkats are ranked 190th).

This is the second loss in a row for Richwood and nudges their season record down to 12-8. As for Bossier, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-19 record.

Richwood has already played their next match (against Carroll), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bossier will square off against Plain Dealing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bossier is facing Plain Dealing at the right time seeing as Plain Dealing is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
