Basketball Recap: West Clermont Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

While West Clermont didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls 80-65 on Friday. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Fighting Owls are ranked 538th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Clermont's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Mt. Healthy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5.
