While Richland's win against Penn Cambria wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams won by a set and slipped past the Panthers 1-0. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Addison Hirsch paced Richland's offense, picking up seven kills. Hirsch got some help from Brooklyn Roberts and her nine assists. Roberts was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Penn Cambria saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Katie Marana had 31 digs. Another player making a difference was Lily Gergely, who had seven blocks, five kills, and five digs.

Richland's win bumped their record up to 16-1-2. As for Penn Cambria, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1.

Richland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Somerset on the 13th. As for Penn Cambria, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Cambria Heights on the 15th.
