Volleyball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Takes a Loss

Bellwood-Antis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hilltoppers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bellwood-Antis' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Westmont Hilltop, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Bellwood-Antis will take on Bishop Guilfoyle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westmont Hilltop, they have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Elk County Catholic on the 13th.
