Jaylen Johnson Delivers Electric Performance Vs Northside
Starting off the list is Thomas County Central's Jaylen Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. Those 59 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Veterans had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Kromah it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kromah saw the Warhawks), he rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Rodney Dunbar Leads Thomas County Central over Northside
Thomas County Central was led to victory by Rodney Dunbar, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dunbar picked up 103 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Dunbar and Thomas County Central will square off against Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Dunbar up against the Bears' star pass catcher Isaiah Mitchell. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Lee County Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Weston Bryan
Weston Bryan was instrumental in extending Lee County's winning streak to eight on Friday. Bryan was dynamite, throwing for 276 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Unfortunately for Veterans, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bryan. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Bryan saw the Warhawks), he threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.
