Starting off the list is Thomas County Central's Jaylen Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. Those 59 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Thomas County Central was led to victory by Rodney Dunbar, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dunbar picked up 103 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Dunbar and Thomas County Central will square off against Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Dunbar up against the Bears' star pass catcher Isaiah Mitchell. Lee County Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Weston Bryan
Weston Bryan was instrumental in extending Lee County's winning streak to eight on Friday. Bryan was dynamite, throwing for 276 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Unfortunately for Veterans, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bryan. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Bryan saw the Warhawks), he threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.
