Baseball Game Preview: Enterprise Wildcats vs. Carver Montgomery Wolverines

The Enterprise Wildcats will head out to face off against the Carver Montgomery Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Enterprise has six straight victories, Carver Montgomery has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Carver Montgomery's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Enterprise hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Wildcats came out on top against Mosley by a score of 4-0 on Saturday.

The result came thanks to Brady Richardson's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Enterprise's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Vanderheyden, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Carver Montgomery lost 10-3 to Brewbaker Tech on Saturday.

Enterprise's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Carver Montgomery, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
