Softball Recap: Agricultural Science Comes Up Short

Victoria Soto hit Agricultural Science with a five-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cyclones fell 8-4 to the Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on Thursday.

Ariana Alcantar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Agricultural Science and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Victoria Soto, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Agricultural Science has already played their next contest, a 0-0 win against Carver on the 27th. As for Victoria Soto, they will challenge South Shore International at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
