Softball Game Preview: Barren County Trojans vs. Taylor County Cardinals

The Barren County Trojans will challenge the Taylor County Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Thursday, Barren County came up short against Logan County and fell 4-1.

Barren County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyra Moore, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Taylor County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past East Jessamine 7-1. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row dating back to last season.

Everything went Barren County's way against Taylor County in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Barren County made off with an 11-2 win. Will Barren County repeat their success, or does Taylor County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
