Basketball Recap: Holland Hall Takes a Loss

Holland Hall's tournament run continued when they took on Crooked Oak on Thursday. The Holland Hall Dutch took a hard 37-23 fall against the Crooked Oak Ruf-Nex. The game marked the Dutch's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Crooked Oak was led to victory by Jamel Morris and Elijah Garcia. Morris made all 5 shots he took for 10 points, while Garcia posted ten points.

Holland Hall has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Crooked Oak, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Holland Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-34 loss against Bishop McGuinness on the 25th. Crooked Oak has also already played their next game, a 74-51 victory against Putnam City West on the 24th.
