Basketball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall suffered their biggest loss since January 10th on Monday. They lost 39-19 to the Allendale Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 35-29 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2021.

Whitehall has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Allendale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Whitehall will host Fremont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Allendale, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Montague at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Montague: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Allendale has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
