Softball Recap: Rudyard Takes a Loss

Rudyard entered their contest against Inland Lakes on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Rudyard fell 6-3 to Inland Lakes. If Rudyard was looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to Inland Lakes when the teams met back in June of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rudyard's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Inland Lakes, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Rudyard has already played their next matchup (against Johannesburg-Lewiston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Inland Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against St. Ignace on the 18th.
