It was a good run, but Bastrop unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anderson Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 25-17, 25-16.

Elaine Harrison was a one-woman wrecking crew For Anderson. as she had eight digs and four aces. That's the most aces Harrison has posted over her last six contests.

Bastrop's defeat dropped their record down to 29-12. As for Anderson, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bastrop will take on rival McCallum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Anderson is set to challenge their familiar foe Navarro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
