Softball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

After flying high against Morris Jeff last Monday, Phoenix came back down to earth. Phoenix came up short against the Port Allen Pelicans on Thursday, falling 23-8.

Phoenix's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Port Allen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Phoenix will head out on the road to take on Mt. Hermon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Port Allen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rapides at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
