Basketball Recap: Coyle Comes Up Short

Coyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Carney Bulldogs, falling 71-50. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-58 on January 7th.

Coyle's record is now 5-13. As for Carney, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coyle will square off against Glencoe at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carney, they will face off against Dewar at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
