Softball Game Preview: Glenn Rockets vs. Dearborn Pioneers

The Glenn Rockets will venture away from home to face off against the Dearborn Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Glenn is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Glenn came up short against Belleville and fell 8-4.

Glenn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylie Sansom, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Dearborn lost 7-1 to Lutheran on Thursday.

Dearborn's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Glenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything went Glenn's way against Dearborn when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Glenn made off with a 31-21 win. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Pioneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
