Basketball Game Preview: Apache Warriors vs. Snyder Cyclones

The Apache Warriors will challenge the Snyder Cyclones at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Apache easily dispatched Carnegie on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Apache fell just short of Hobart by a score of 54-51 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Snyder came into Tuesday's game having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 35-23 win over Navajo on Tuesday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Apache fell to 2-1. As for Snyder, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Apache against Snyder in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 73-23 win. Will Apache repeat their success, or does Snyder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
