Soccer Recap: Giles County Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shelbyville Central, Giles County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Coffee County Central Red Raiders 2-1.

The victory got Giles County back to even at 7-7-3. As for Coffee County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Giles County will venture away from home to challenge Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coffee County Central, they will head out to square off against Columbia Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
