Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corry). They blew past the Erie Royals 6-1 on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Corry needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Corry's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4-1. As for Erie, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Corry didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against Cathedral Prep on the 23rd. As for Erie, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against McDowell on the 25th.
