Negaunee is 8-2 against Houghton since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Negaunee Miners will challenge the Houghton Gremlins at 6:00 p.m. Negaunee will be strutting in after a victory while Houghton will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Thursday, Negaunee strolled past Menominee with points to spare, taking the game 62-48. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Maroons: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Houghton came up short against Iron Mountain on Thursday and fell 66-53. The Gremlins have struggled against the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Negaunee's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Houghton, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.

Negaunee and Houghton were neck-and-neck when the teams last played on February 3rd, but Negaunee came up empty-handed after a 65-64 defeat. Can Negaunee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
