Baseball Game Preview: South Terrebonne Gators vs. Central Lafourche Trojans

South Terrebonne's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Assumption with a sharp 13-0 victory. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Gators yet this season.

Meanwhile, Central Lafourche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Thibodaux.

South Terrebonne has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-15-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Central Lafourche, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-20.
