Basketball Game Preview: Sandwich Indians vs. Woodstock North Thunder

Sandwich is a perfect 3-0 against Woodstock North since January of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sandwich Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Woodstock North Thunder at 6:45 p.m. The timing is sure in Sandwich's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home while Woodstock North has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Tuesday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Sandwich made off with a 47-46 victory over Woodstock.

Meanwhile, Woodstock North was beaten by Richmond-Burton 61-34 on Tuesday.

Sandwich is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points over those games. As for Woodstock North, their loss dropped their record down to 4-20.

Sandwich strolled past Woodstock North in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 53-37. Will Sandwich repeat their success, or does Woodstock North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
