Soccer Recap: Franklin Towne Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Franklin Towne was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Vikings. If Franklin Towne were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Northeast when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Franklin Towne's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Franklin Towne will head out on the road to square off against Holy Ghost Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Holy Ghost Prep's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Northeast, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Horace Furness at 3:15 p.m.
